Higgs Butchers
A J Cliffe & Sons Butchers. A family traditional butcher. Superb lamb, meat butchered on the premises and a famous range of home-made sausages. Steve Cliffe wanted a fresh new look to his shop counters, so we designed him a contemporary looking ticket to match his black upright Pentic stands. Steve is very happy with both the finished product and the service, and is now set for the busy Christmas period!
PENTIC at the Horniman Museum Cafe
I recently had the pleasure of a visit an old haunt – the Horniman Museum in South London. Pentic were asked to visit the Museum Café to work on a new ticket design for their café counter display, with an aim to give a more professional look.
Over the years I recall spending many rainy Sundays at the Museum with my family, which has six galleries with an inspiring array of exhibits including, anthropology, musical instruments, natural history collections, an aquarium and award-winning gardens. The gardens are beautifully maintained with formal and natural landscapes, from delightful rose sunken gardens to enchanting wild flower displays.
Anthony Lenco, Café Director, has been developing the business since 2002. He wanted a new ticketing system that was durable, easy to maintain and gave the café counters a contemporary look. The café offers a wide range of home made food, healthy meals for kids – and some very nice cakes! Visitors range from families, school trips and general visitors to the museum. You can eat inside or outside, or for a special treat in the adjacent glass conservatory.
The museum is “free” to all visitors, so well worth a visit stopping off at the café for lunch!
